The 1st Annual Andy Soesilo Memorial Golf Tournament will be held Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Superstition Springs Golf Course.  Proceeds from the tournament will be used to support the Sister Servants of the Plan of God, who will be housed at OLMC in Fall 2016, as well as other KofC sponsored charities, and KofC sponsored seminarians.  The tournament is open to golfers of all skill levels.  A flyer with event details as well as a registration form are available here.  Register now!  Check payable to Knights of Columbus Council 6627. Lent is just around the corner and that means Easter is close by.  The Knights will help begin the Lenten season with a tasty Fish Fry in McCready Hall on Ash Wednesday, February 10,  and every Friday during Lent (except Good Friday), from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.  Help from Brother Knights is needed to prepare, serve and clean up. Setup begins at 3:30pm and cleanup is finished by about 8:00 pm.  Bring the family.  Your children and wife will hug you for your generosity. And, back by popular demand, FISH TACOS!!!  Please join us.

Saturday, December 12th, we will be having the council Christmas party in McCready Hall after 5:00pm mass. The council will supply the fried chicken, ham, rolls, soft drinks and wine. Please bring a side dish or desert to share.

Our Council’s annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony will take place on Monday December 7 after the 7pm Immaculate Conception Vigil Mass.  Please join us to kickoff the blessed Christmas Season.

We need volunteers for Sept.25-27 at the Fry’s stores at Rural and Southern and Mill and Southern to assist in collecting monies for the Knights of Columbus PWID Tootsie Roll Drive. Please email [email protected] to volunteer. Each shift is only 2 hours from 8:00am to 6:00pm. Please reply–we could really use the help! Your time is greatly appreciated.

The OLMC Knights of Columbus would like to thank all of those involved, in this year’s Golf Tournament, for making it such a huge success.

This year’s tournament proceeds surpassed our prior events, raising $3,000 in funds to benefit the Aid to Women Center pregnancy and medical center.

We also dedicated this year’s tournament, to the passing of OLMC Brother Knight Andy Soesilo. Andy was one of the Tournament Founders and involved in making every tournament a success since its start. In his memory, a donation of $500 made to the organization that Andy founded, the PKKA in support of the Christian Education of Indonesian Children.
