Corporate Mass and 5th Sunday Rosary

On Sunday October 30th at 9AM, all Knights and their families are invited to attend the 9AM Mass together.  A separate area will be cordoned off for us all to sit together.  Knights shirts or name badges are encouraged but not required.  After the Mass, we will be leading a Rosary for the Parish together:

In the spirit of unity the Knights of Columbus of  Mount Carmel parish are pleased to invite everyone to join us as we gather to pray  a 5th Sunday Rosary.  We encourage everyone to join us next in the church  Sunday, October 30th immediately following the 9am Mass. So, if you attend the 9am Mass plan to stay and pray! If you attend the 11am Mass, don’t forget to come early and pray! Knights will be supplying the finger rosaries and prayer cards or parishioners may use their own rosary.

Thank you for your time and support!

Our sincere thanks to all of you who donated time and/or money towards making the 2016 PWID Drive a success.  We were able to raise close to $4,000 to donate to various schools and organizations supporting people with intellectual disabilities.

PWID Tootsie Roll Drive

We need volunteers for Sept.23-24 at the Fry’s stores at Rural and Southern and Mill and Southern to assist in collecting monies for the Knights of Columbus People With Intellectual Disabilities (PWID) Tootsie Roll Drive. Please email [email protected] to volunteer. Each shift is only 2 hours from 8:00am to 6:00pm. Please reply–we could really use the help! Your time is greatly appreciated.

Officer Installation Ceremony and Dinner

Our Knights of Columbus Council 6627 Officer’s Installation Ceremony will he held Saturday August 13th at 6 PM (directly following 5 PM Mass) at OLMC.  All Knights and their families are welcome and encouraged to attend. We are starting (or restarting) something new within the Council, a monthly Corporate Mass, where all Knights and their families attend a designated mass and sit together as a group to show our Council unity and OLMC Parish support.  I will be attempting to partition off a portion of the church seating for our group on this evening. If you will be attending, let me know and how many will be in your group by Monday August 8th.

In addition, a dinner will directly follow the Installation Ceremony in McCready Hall. All Knights and their families are welcome, however those wishing to attend the dinner, will need to RSVP to Tom Donnelly (grandknight(at)kofc6627.org) by Monday August 8th.  The cost for the dinner is $20 per person. Please note that if you RSVP for the dinner, you are obligated for however many dinners you RSVP for. I hope to see everyone there!
