Council meetings are held on the 3rd Monday of each month at 7:00 pm in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel’s McCready Hall.  Note:The January General Council Meeting has been rescheduled to January 20 Due to MLK Day.  The February General Council Meeting has been rescheduled to February 17 due to President’s Day.

Ultrasound Dinner Dance

The Knights of Columbus District 9 Annual Ultrasound Initiative Fundraiser is on February 5, 2022 at 6:00 pm.  The dinner/dance fundraiser will be held in Hennessey Hall at St. Andrew the Apostle.  Our Council 6627 along with Councils in the K of C District 9 will be participating and helping with the set up at the Fundraiser.
The Ultrasound Initiative’s theme is “Ultrasound means Life. Life mean Hope.”  All the proceeds from this Initiative Fundraiser will go to purchasing an Ultrasound machine for the Aid to Women Centers.
“Save unborn lives by helping women choose life by giving them the opportunity to view their unborn children on ultrasound machines at pro-life pregnancy centers. Tickets are $25.  Tickets can be purchased by emailing or calling James Armstrong or Dominic Conn.  District Deputy Dominic Conn and I ask you to please attend the dinner or donate to this wonderful benefit to help women with an unborn child who are in need.

Advent Spiritual Retreat

Advent WreathThe OLMC Knights of Columbus Advent Spiritual Reflection is set to be led by Fr. Jerome on Saturday December 18th at 9 AM, in the OLMC Annex (Building to far south of Parish)  Registration starts at 8:30 AM and the Reflection should end with Reconciliation available at 2 PM.  Breakfast and lunch items being provided by the Knights of Columbus, however feel free to bring something you would like to share as well.  Please bring a bible with you along with something to write with and on.  More information on the theme of the Reflection and topics to be provided.  Please come out and celebrate the season of Advent with us!  All are welcome including other groups, wives, children and parishioners. Please contact Tom Donelley if you are thinking about coming so we know how many to plan for?

KofC Raffle 2021

It is again time for the Annual Knights of Columbus State Raffle.  All prizes are cash again this year and are listed below.

As you know, per Post Office guidelines, we cannot mail out the raffle tickets anymore, but they are available for pickup or delivery.  For delivery, please contact Joe Detiege by text or phone call at 480-772-9300.  For pickup, please call or text Joe at 480-772-9300 to ensure someone is home for pickup.

At the State Council level 50% of the proceeds from sales will be used to provide funding to various Arizona Charities such as, Phoenix and Tucson Rosary Sunday, St. Vincent de Paul and Pro-life activities.  At the Council level the remaining 50% of funds from sales will be provided to St Joseph’s Youth Camp.

Over the last year, our fund-raising abilities were curtailed due to Covid restrictions and our contributions to various Charities have been limited.  The Annual Charity Raffle affords you the opportunity to support a council project and help raise money to support our assorted Charities.  Your participation and willingness to support those in need is greatly appreciated.

Winners need not be present at drawing and will be notified by a State or an OLMC Council Officer.  The winners will also be posted on the State Knights of Columbus website.   Must be 21 years or older to participate.
